These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Rodney M. Sánchez, an individual doing business as Pets2gether ("Pets2gether," "we," or "us"), governing use of the Pets2gether mobile application and related website at pets2gether.com (together, the "Service"). Contact details appear in Section 14.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with involvement of a parent or guardian as required by local law.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials confidential. Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. You may delete your account from the Account settings in the app as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pets2gether offers paid plans as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store (In-App Purchase). The plan title, length, and price are shown before you confirm payment. Free includes one pet with manual health records, vaccination and medication reminders, weight tracking, the Health Pass PDF, symptom text notes, and medicines kept for if needed. Paid adds additional pets, shared task completion, receiving clinic records, Services finder as nearby search with Call, Directions, and Add to schedule, and symptom attachments (photos, video, and other files). Symptom text notes and medicines kept for if needed are not part of the paid plan. Services finder is nearby search. It is not booking and it is not a provider portal.
If you make such a purchase, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.
Prices shown in the App Store may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and policies; request refunds through Apple, not Pets2gether. We do not store your full payment card details. Apple’s terms apply to the billing relationship for App Store purchases.
You retain ownership of content you upload (including pet photos and health information you enter). You grant Pets2gether a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service for you and for people you authorize (for example Family or Caretaker sharing). That license ends when the content is deleted from active systems after you delete it or delete your account, except for backup copies kept for the retention period in the Privacy Policy and for copies already shared with another person or a veterinary practice.
You agree not to upload unlawful or harmful content, interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the Service except where mandatory law allows.
You may invite Family or Caretaker members and may choose to share health information (for example a Health Pass PDF) with a veterinary practice. Sharing outside Pets2gether is under your control. Data already accepted into a veterinary practice’s own clinical records is retained by that practice under its policies; Pets2gether cannot delete those copies when you delete your account.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or that pose risk to the Service or other users, to the extent permitted by law.
Pets2gether is not a veterinary clinic, veterinarian, or medical device. The Service helps you store records, track weight, and receive reminders. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Information in the app may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Reminders may fail to deliver because of device settings, connectivity, or other factors. Always seek care from a licensed veterinarian for your pet’s health. Do not delay veterinary care because of something you saw (or did not see) in the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Costa Rican law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws.
Subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, disputes arising out of this Agreement or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Costa Rica. Nothing in this Agreement limits non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the posted document. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.
